Manunggal to release debut album in Cilacap Menghitam 4

Cilacap-based event management Bintang Production, teams up with Syakura Music Studio will hold the fourth installment of CILACAP MENGHITAM.
The number four will take place at Garazi Kazena, Kasugihan, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Twenty two deadly metal corps will assault Garazi Kazena with loaded armaments, to amuse the noise music enthusiast around Cilacap.
The Cilacap Menghitam #4 will feature MANUNGGAL, who in the occasion will launch their debut full-length album, Kun Fa Ya Kun.
Manunggal is Cilacap-based black metal act, founded in 2013 by guitarist Joko P a.k.a Bayu. The band now consists of Joko Bayu Purnomo (vocals/guitars), Rinto (bass), Mohammad Al-Habsyi (keyboards), and Shilva Ramadan (drums).
Along with Manunggal, Cilacap’s death metal band DEMOCRAZY, DROSOPHILA (Yogyakarta’s Gothic metal),
and black metal band from Jakarta ORTODEUS will co-headline the very show.
Fay Tanda Tanya from Bintang Production in his interview with www.Musik.or.id told the event series was held for the first time on February 15, 2015. The gig was the brainchild of Joko Purnomo, founder of Bintang Production and Manunggal’s frontman/guitarist. Manunggal celebrated its first anniversary in that event.
The second installment was organized only four months later on June 7, 2015 at Indoor Tennis Court, Cilacap.
Following the success of the first and second editions, Bintang Productions held Cilacap Menghitam #3 on July 11, 2016 at Rawa Bendungan Field, Cilacap. This time featured Siksa Kubur and Fadihat, both are Jakarta-based death metal veterans.
Fay added the fourth edition will be special since Joko Purnomo and Manunggal delivering their long-awaited debut album.
He complained the only obstacle the organizer had was the difficulty in having event permit from the local police precinct.
