Earl Klugh merilis Hand Picked
Gitaris Jazz Fusion legendaris Earl Klugh (baca: Erl Klu) kembali merilis album terbarunya yang berjudul Hand Picked pada tanggal 30 Juli 2013. Album ini adalah full album pertama Klugh setelah menerbitkan The Spice of Life 5 tahun yang lalu. Hand Picked juga merupakan album pertamanya bersama Heads Up Records, anak perusahaan dari Concord Music Group.
Ada 16 lagu di dalam album ini, dimana 4 lagu adalah ciptaan Klugh, dan sisanya merupakan interpretasi Klugh terhadap lagu-lagu terkenal dari Burt Bacharah, Lorenz Hart, Richard Rodgers, The Beatles, The Eagles, Vince Guaraldi, dan lain-lain, termasuk lagu Thelonius Monk – ‘Round Midnight dan George Shearing – Lullaby of Birdland.
Di album ini Klugh dibantu oleh Bill Frisell, Jake Shimabukuro, dan Vince Gill.
Peraih Grammy Award bersama Bob James untuk album One on One tahun 1981 ini sudah mengeluarkan lebih dari 30 album.
