A charity gig to benefit orphans around Tangerang will be held this Sunday. The second installment of Garasi Music will take place at Cafe 44 Parigi Baru, Jl. Graha Bintaro (opposite Pondok Aren Police Station), South Tangerang on May 4, 2017.
Pemuda Pondok Kacang, a youth community in Pondok Kacang area, South Tangerang will showcase twenty six well-known bands from around Tangerang, Bogor and Jakarta, whose genres vary from Death Metal to Punk.
This year’s theme is unite to care orphans.
Ahmad Taufik Fitrah from Pemuda Pondok Kacang in his inteview with www.Musik.or.id spoke about the show and community. He said the event was held for the first time in 2014, in Ciledug, Tangerang. The gig aims to raise money for orphans around Tangerang.
The frontman of Amis Darah added Garasi Music gig franchise was his brainchild with fellow Jiguy Plas.
Pemuda Pondok Kacang is active in music, mountain climbing and sport angling. Founded in 2008, they had organized four series of Generasi Music until 2012.
