Made in Made brought “Kupi Aceh” in Banda Aceh Coffee Fest
Banda Aceh-based reggae act, Made in Made brought their new tune “Kupi Aceh” to an appreciative crowd Friday night at the opening ceremony of the annual Banda Aceh Coffee Festival 2013.
The groove of reggae hit the atmosphere of the famous Taman Sari, Banda Aceh, where the third edition of the Coffee Fest is located until 25th of November 2013.
Made in Made’s frontman Ramadhan raised a cup of coffee to the spectators and said “Tonight, I will sing our new song Kupi Aceh.” Then he led the audience singing “Pagi ngopi, sore ngopi, malam ngopi.”
The band is listed in PAI International Reggae Festival‘s current line-up and will showcase their talents on 13-15 December 2013 at Pai Fah Talay Mok Dao, Pai, Thailand.
Other line-ups were Amoba Band, Mulia, Agus PMTOH, Cut Ika Liana, etc.
The fest was officially opened by a welcoming speech of Mayor’s representative Mr. Ramli AR, concluded by an Acehnese traditional coffee milling demonstration by Mr. Ramli, The Head of Banda Aceh Parliament Mr Yudi Kurnia, The Regent of Bener Meriah Mr Ruslan Abdul Gani, The Head of Banda Aceh Tourism and Cultural Office Mr Reza Fahlevi, and His Excellency the Ambassador of Finland Mr Kai Sauer.
