Medan to host Hexis’ first date in Indonesian leg of its Asia Tour 2017

Copenhagen-based hardcore/doomy black metal act HEXIS is scheduled to commence the Indonesian leg as part of its Asia Tour in Medan, on Sunday, 22 January 2017. The 45-date Asia Tour 2017 was started in Hanoi on 10 January and will be finished in Daegu, South Korea, on 5 March.

The Medan show will take place at Pitu Room Cafe, Jalan Sunggal Medan, North Sumatera and organized by Bukan Record and Friends.  HEXIS will share the stage with 17 local bands before heading east to Pekan Baru. The Indonesian leg is consisted of  5 dates in Sumatera,  13 in Java, 2 in Bali, 1 in Sulawesi and 2 in Kalimantan.

The Danish band was formed in 2010 and had released some Eps and a full-length album Abalam in 2014. The band was almost disbanded in 2015 after all of its members but founder Filip Andersen parted ways. The frontman continues to put the band on shows.
