Payangan Kampoeng Metal (previously known as Payangan Underground) will bring back its event series PAYANGAN MUSIK HITAM this week. This time, the ninth installment is scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Auri Payangan Jati Sari, Jati Sari District, Bekasi, West Java.

Eleven metal acts from around Jabodetabek will rampage the stage to amuse the local extreme music fans.

Leader of Payangan Kampoeng Metal, Karminto Rain a.k.a. Minto Galer in his release to www.Musik.or.id, said Payangan Musik Hitam was held for the first time in 2004 marked the birth of Payangan Underground. After the third issue in 2007, the society was on hiatus until it came back in 2011. The Payangan Underground changed its name to Payangan Kampoeng Metal in March 2012 during the setting up of Payangan Musik Hitam V.

This year’s issue’s theme is Reunion Revenge. Minto, a traditional karinding percussion player himself, explained the theme was opted due to the society members were rarely met each other, and he expected the ninth installment would reunite the community.

The show will be free of charge. This event is backed up by fellow communities such as PBT Corps Jakarta Timur, Persatuan Headbanger Indonesia Kopaja, Cimanggis Death Metal, etc.
