Nineteen aggressive death metal acts will invade Yogyakarta on Friday, May 12, 2017, with full-loaded ammo in the third campaign of RPM Death Fest. The Yogyakarta metal realm will witness a generous free gig at Arcaf Cafe that lies on  Jl. Babarsari No.89, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta

The third edition marks RPM Merch’s consistency in organizing the death fest series for three consecutive years. The RPM Death Fest Chapter 3 features Moredead, Decapitate Hatred, Expendiency and Bloody Anatomies, as the fest’s headliners.

Malaysian brutal death metal band Bloody Anatomies will strike with full armaments from their 2016 full-length debut album Parasick, released by Indonesian independent label Endless Torture Records. The foursome consists of Syafeg (vocals), Dhomfarysa (guitars), Syharma (bass), and Faixal (drums), has been active since 2008 and showing no sign of slowing down yet.

Having its debut EP Dinasti Order Barbar released October last year by Horrible Creation Extreme Musick Media, makes Bandung-origin Moredead have been busying themselves taking part in many gigs around Java since.

Their high-acclaimed EP receives positive review from metal enthusiasts and some zines. Andrew Sick from Sick Reviews rated it 9,5 out of 10 and praised with “Extreme F*cking Piece of Cold F*cking Brutality!”

Moredead was formed in 2009 and current formation is consisted of Andry Gila (vocals), Dudi Damn (guitars), Rizal (bass), and Ibey (drums).

Since its inception in 2010, Tangerang-based brutal death metal band Decapitate Hatred has released EP Extermination in Solitude in 2013 and full-length debut album Birth of Abomination. The latter was released by Fed Force Records in USA on November 30, 2016.

Black Dahlia Murder’s frontman Trevor Strnad mentioned the album in his Metal Injection’s January 2017 column “Trevor from BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Recommends 20 Sick New Extreme Metal Releases For A Riotous 2017“.

The Indonesian fans finally have the chance to enjoy Birth of Abomination after Stillborn Sounds released it nationally on April 16, 2017.

Decapitate Hatred consists of Ferlando Sutanto (vocals), Pidekso Gentur Satriaji (guitars) and Angga Endar (drums).

Bogor-based death metal Expediency has been diving in metal business for almost 9 years. After released 4 promotional CDs since 2010, finally its full-length debut album was released on February 20, 2017 by Extreme Souls Production.

Album Sadistic Murder is a reward for Expediency’s persistence and determination. Founded in 2008 as Ending Truth, now-trio Expediency consists of Aditiya Ramdhan (guitars), Rizki Darmawan (vocals) and Katon Gilang Ramadhan (drums).

Adi Suprayetno, owner of RPM Merch in his interview with www.Musik.or.id told the RPM Death Fest was debuted on April 5, 2015 at Nevada Cafe. Followed by the second installment at Arcaf Cafe on May 1, 2016. He expects the next edition will be held somewhere outside Yogyakarta.

He mentioned fellow Araka Nusantara who supported him to materialize the gig series. Adi established RPM Merch on February 15, 2013 in Yogyakarta, but now resides in Jakarta.
