SiksakubuR to kick off “Mazmur:187 Tour 2017” in West Jakarta
West Community, an alliance of extreme music musicians in West Jakarta, will host the first stop of Indonesian death metal giant SiksakubuR‘s Mazmur:187 Tour 2017. The West Jakarta-date is part of the band’s Java, Bali and Lombok tour to support their iconic album Mazmur:187.
The concert will be organized on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Maruni Glass Factory parking lot, Jalan Peternakan 3 Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
Fourteen local renowned death metal bands are scheduled to share stage with SiksakubuR. All death metallers at the concert also will pay homage to late West Jakarta veteran drummer Bono Foxx (Croxous, ex-Aaarghhh).
Bono died suddenly on August 19, 2017 after did a soundcheck for Tangerang-date of Invasion Tour 2017, a tour conducted by Jakarta-based black/thrash metal band Croxous to support its latest album Panas Besi Api.
SiksakubuR’s seventh full-length album Mazmur:187, released in November 2016 by Armstretch Records, has received positive reviews from most music zines and metal enthusiasts since its released. The high praise and approval for the album, sent the band to receive an accolade last May, at Hammersonic Metal Awards 2017, winning the category of Breakthrough of The Year.
Since its inception in 1996, SiksakubuR has released 7 full-length albums, 1 EP, and 1 compilation album.
The band current line up consists of Rudy Harijanto (vocals), Andre Marora Tiranda (guitars), Adhitya Perkasa (drums), Ricky Rangga (guitars), and Gilang Pristianto (bass).
The concert will be host by MC Gele Golok Setan and Aska Berdarah.
Diki Kurniansyah, the event spokesperson told www.Musik.or.id the West Community is formed just to host this one-off show. Every band who involves in this concert sending a delegate to be the show runners.
