SiksakubuR to top the bill at Cepu Death Fest

Cepu Killer Species and Antah Berantah Management teams up to organize a new extreme music concert titled Cepu Death Fest. This exclusive death metal show will take place at Ronggolawe Stadium, Cepu, Central Java, on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
Indonesian death metal veteran SiksakubuR is scheduled to headline the show, accompanied by other 15 aggressive death metal acts. The band will promote their highly acclaimed album Mazmur:187, released last November by Armstretch Records.
SiksakubuR just received an accolade last week in Hammersonic Metal Awards 2017 winning the category of Breakthrough of The Year. The band’s seventh full-length album Mazmur:187, received positive reviews from most music zines and metal enthusiasts.
Since its inception in 1996, SiksakubuR has released 7 full-length albums, 1 EP, and 1 compilation album.
The band current line up consists of Rudy Harijanto (vocals), Andre Marora Tiranda (guitars), Adhitya Perkasa (drums), Ricky Rangga (guitars), and Gilang Pristianto (bass).
Teguh Suroso from Antah Berantah Management in recent interview with www.Musik.or.id spoke about the show. He said the idea to hold the festival came up when he and Gatot from Fornication Terrorist had a conversation about their dream to make a new metal fest to accommodate local talents cutting their teeth and showcasing their talents and abilities.
Teguh added Cepu Killer Species has been organizing annual event Cepu Monster Hitam, and Antah Berantah Management previously managed BrainAss and organized the band’s debut Primordial Uncouth launch party in 2012. He expected both companies will hold more event together in the future.
