SILATURAHMI MASA HITAM 4

Twenty boisterous bands will burst Comal, a sub-district in Pemalang Regency, on Sunday, 15 January 2017 at Agro Wisata Comal Baru, Pemalang, Central Java. A full-day of merriment is offered by SILATURAHMI MASA HITAM, a gig series that started by the members of Comal Underground Community since 2011. This year’s issue is its fourth installment.

SMH Organizer who is behind the concert, planned this year’s edition to be held at Jatidiri Football Stadium, Comal. But they moved the venue to Agro Wisata Comal Baru for an undisclosed reason, Najwa from SMH stated in her release to Musik.or.id on 9 January 2017.

Eko Riyadi from SMH Organizer told www.Musik.or.id about the Silaturahmi Massa Hitam. The gig franchise was founded in 2011 by Budiono and some members of Comal Underground Community, to appease the society for the lack of music show happening in the Comal area. The first show was held on 7 September 2011 at Petarukan Movie Theater, Comal. The sequel followed four years later taking place in Agro Wisata Comal Baru on 25 October 2015 and headlining Jakarta-based Gothic black metal act Kembang Kuburan. The last franchise was held at Jatidiri Football Stadium, Comal, on 11 July 2016.

This year’s gig will feature DEMENTED HEART, KAMAR MAYAT, KEJIE, GENDAR PECEL, RESSUS, SHELOAM, and ROBOT PENGHANCUR.

The Comal Underground Community actively holds discussion about metal music every Saturday night and consists of people from different background e.g. musicians, traders, tailors, teachers, ustadz, et cetera.
