STOLEN VISION

For this album, Stolen Vision re-arranged and re-recorded their previous works from first EP They Make Me Stronger, released on August 11, 1998 by Youth Frontline Records. The band also pays a tribute to now-defunct Bremen-based hardcore act ACME by covering song “Attempt” from their 1993 Menschenmaschine album.

Guitarist Indra Zulkarnain from Stolen Vision told www.Musik.or.id the recording session took place at Virtuoso Studio Malang around October to November 2016. The songs were engineered, mixed and mastered by Laga. Cover art was designed by frontman Iwan, and Indra did the layout.

Indra revealed the conversation about the split album was held in the mid of 2016.

Malang-based hardcore/metal act Stolen Vision was founded in 1997.  Their first EP They Make Me Stronger (1998) is considered as the first physical release in Indonesian hardcore music spectrum.

The band’s current line up consists of Iwan (vocals), Firman (bass), Indra (rhythm guitar), Dimas (lead guitar) and Bima (drums).

HANDS UPON SALVATION

This split album signifies how perseverance Hands Upon Salvation is. To date, the Yogyakarta-based hardcore/metal act has released 1 EP and 1 full-length album, 5 split albums (including Comprehensive Chaos and The Seek of Immortality), and involved in 17 compilation albums.

The flock contributes 3 songs from its prior works.

Hands Upon Salvation was formed as Destruct in 1998, but then dropped the name and adopted the current in 2002. They released their first EP Celebrate the Newborn with Diorama Records in 2004.
