Psychedelic rock act Fuzzbreak releases single Parallel Universe

Newly formed psychedelic rock band Fuzzbreak from Ungaran, Semarang, has released a new single entitled Parallel Universe on July 21, 2017, preceding their upcoming unknown-title-yet debut EP, scheduled to be released this year.

Parallel Universe tells about the capitalistic and oppressive character of human nature, where one feels oppressed by a predominant person, but unwittingly oppresses powerless people. Parallel Universe defined as life in this world have things in common, but contradict in different viewpoint.

The band recorded Parallel Universe on July 15, 2017 at 4WD Studio, Semarang. A. Lutfi Maajid from Orange Silos Studio Jakarta mixed and mastered the tune.

Fuzzbreak was founded in August 2016 as a side project by indie rock act Stepping Stone’s guitarist Heribertush “Kemin” Rangsang Inarsoyo; death metal unit Hamunaptra’s guitarist Arbi “Otong” Satrio; and drummer Petra Gilang Asa from Hayday Ska. Kemin plays bass and sings at Fuzzbreak.

Kemin in his email to Musik.or.id stated Fuzzbreak’s concept differs to personnel’s other projects. The band incorporates a mixture of blues rock, progressive rock and psychedelic rock riffs, influenced by 60’s blues rock like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, 90’s super stoner rock Atomic Bitchwax, and 2000’s American psychedelic rock band Radio Moscow.

Current line up comprises Kemin (bass/vocals), Otong (guitars) and Petra (drums).
