Troya releases lyric video for Sceptical
Pekan Baru-based pop rock trio TROYA has published a lyric video to accompany their latest single Sceptical on April 30, 2017. The band said the single was released to precede their sophomore full-length album.
Production house from Pekan Baru L21 Photography, produced the video in the mid of last April. Film makers Verri Firnanda and Maifil Edwar incorporated massive shallow focus technique resulted a great bokeh effect. A nice soft tone is applied to fit the dark and mellow Sceptical lyric.
The video was filmed at Pekan Baru city forest and in an abandoned building.
Frontwoman Pratiwi stars solo in the video.
Single Sceptical was recorded in January 2017 at the band’s own recording studio. Like previous works, founder/guitarist Jimmy Satio was in charge in producing, writing, and arranging.
In recent interview with www.Musik.or.id, Jimmy said the single tells about one who facing anxiety and feeling uncertain and restless about future. He added it is potential to make an official music video for this single sometime later.
Troya issued its first self-released full-length album in 2016 titled Awakening Dream. The album contains nine tracks mostly talks about love.
Precedently the band released an official video Tanpa Aku in 2015.
Troya was founded on August 6, 2007 by former guitarist of Stihat/Panji/Stratus Jimmy Satio and bassist Endri Syahrizal. After some line up changing, they recruited Rengat-born singer Pratiwi in 2009. The band hires additional players to fulfill a complete line up for stage performing.
