A new established underground community in Serang Regency and Municipality, the Serang Metalhead, will hold its first event titled Bangkit Bersatu on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at GOR Catur Ciruas, Serang Regency, Banten.

The Bangkit Bersatu: Silaturahmi Metalhead will showcase twenty one metal bands from around Banten, Jakarta, West and Central Java Provinces, featuring Saffar (Bandung), JD.AL-DAER (Tangerang) and Suropati (Serang) as the gigs headliners. Sukabumi-based death metal act Organ Busuck and Jakarta’s death metaller Twin Force Kill, will promote their full-length debut album and promotional CD, respectively, at the very occasion.

Bandung-based death metal unit Saffar will rock Bangkit Bersatu with its new formation. Bloodgush’s bassist Evan is a new sport to the guys who’ve just lost Ramon earlier this year. Evan was introduced on March 25, 2017 at the band’s Facebook page.

Saffar was founded by guitarist Gilang in 2007. After several line up changing, the band released its high-acclaimed full-length debut Mandatory El Arshy on September 9, 2013 through Extreme Souls Production.

Latest formation consists of Gilang (guitars/vocals), Evan (bass) and Iyenk (drums).

Tangerang’s hardcore veteran JD.AL-DAER gained a cult of following after releasing debut The Life That I Can’t Have in 2004. The album consists of twelve tracks was released by Edelweiss Production.

JD.AL-DAER once suffered career setback due to the members commitment in works and studies, causing the delay of new materials-writing for their second album.

Since its inception in 1998 in Balaraja, Tangerang, the band went through several lineup changes culminating with Sheila Nurwinda as its frontwoman, Bugiel as guitarist and Utun as drummer.

Femme fatale Vanny has proven herself fits to replace frontwoman Icha in Serang-based Gothic metal act Suropati. Since its birth in 2006, Suropati has released one EP Menghilang Tak Berarti in 2010.

The band is survived by Vanny (vocals), Jemz (vocals), Ilay Koswara (guitars), Rhaka (guitars), Ableh (bass), Rd Gentur Adyyasa (drums) and Dhenis Jibril (keyboards).

Brutal gore act from Jampang, Sukabumi, West Java, Organ Busuck was founded by husband and wife Andre and Ocha in 2013. Now-trio Organ Busuck is on the verge of debut album release entitled Dendam, which is scheduled to be published sometime in June. Organ Busuck will promote their future debut album in Bangkit Bersatu.

The band current formation consists of Ocha (vocals), Andre (guitars) and Teguh (drums).

After wandering for about eight years, finally Twin Force Kill published its first physical release promotional CD titled Promo 2017 in last February, preceding their future debut album.

The death metal unit will bombardier Bangkit Bersatu with their tracks Bombardir ISIS and Triple Treat Skull.

Twin Force Kill was founded in 2009 by Joe Crusher (guitars), Mamay (drums), Budi (guitars), Tole (bass), and Oza Ozi (vocals).  In 2016, Joe Crusher reformed the band with new formation comprises Joe (guitars), Alvy (bass), Sendi (drums) and Marco (vocals).

Agung Darojat from Serang Metalhead spoke with www.Musik.or.id in recent inteview. He uttered Bangkit Bersatu is a new founded gig since the establishment of Serang Metalhead on March 15, 2017. The society is the brainchild of him and fellow Afandy Obenk Grinding.

Agunk who owns Serang’s renowned event management Qolbu Production added the idea behind the show was to develop and to unite underground scenes around Serang, and as a platform for musicians and metalheads to meet and greet.

The black metal screamer will also perform at the very show with his band Total Kramat.
