Croxous to kick off Invasion Tour 2017 in Surabaya

To support its latest album Panas Besi Api, Jakarta-based black/thrash metal band Croxous will hit the road in a series of tour dates titled Invasion Tour 2017, starting on this Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Surabaya.

The Surabaya Invasion Tour 2017 is organized by Malaabis Store and will take place at Inferno Studio, Jalan Prof. Dr. Mustopo No.178, Mojo, Gubeng, Surabaya, from 7 PM to 9 PM. Croxous will be accompanied by two local prominent bands i.e. brutal death metal veteran Wafat and grindcore act Slow Brain.

After Surabaya, the band will continue to visit more cities which listed in their initial tour dates such as Depok, Sukabumi, Bekasi, Bandung, Tangerang, and Denpasar.

Co-founder/frontman Bada Riyadi told Musik.or.id the band will commence to work on fifth album after the tour finished. On July 29, Croxous official Facebook revealed their fifth album will be named Perang Kota.

Panas Besi Api, the band’s fourth album, was launched in a party on May 12, 2017 at JK7 Bar & Club, Arion Swiss Belhotel, Kemang, South Jakarta. Croxous introduced their new drummer Bono (ex-AAARGHHH) in the occasion, ended their journey as duo. Previously the band was endured by Bada Riyadi (vocals, guitars) and Ujang (guitars). Bada will play bass guitar during live performance.

Croxous was founded in 1999, and to date they have released Prisai Badai (2004), 13th Agresy War Against Satan (2012), Lahar Panas (2014) and Panas Besi Api (2017).

Surabaya-based death metaller Wafat is in the midst of releasing their fourth album. Presumably, the band will sneak peek some new materials at the Surabaya Invasion Tour 2017.

Founded in 1996 by Frank Mufty, the band has released Cemetery Of Cellarage (1997), Surga Itu Gelap (2009) and Exhausted Soul (2011). The latest formation consists of Frank Mufti (vocals), Ditya Dinoz (bass), Bangkit Al Azhar (drums), and Affandi (guitars).

Frank is the only original members survivor.

Grindcore act Slow Brain will play their trade-mark humorous set list consists of micro-songs from their sophomore album Maling Jemuran, released in April 2017. Last year, they published debut In Chaos We Fun.

Current lineup comprises Satura Rony (bass), Aco (drums), Imam Satarial (vocals), and Juwari (guitars).
