DG Records unleash Jeritan Babi’s Promoshit 2017

Independent record label based in Tangerang, DG Records released Jakarta’s brutal slamming death metal act Jeritan Babi’s promotional CD titled Promoshit 2017 on June 7, 2017. The promotional CD precedes their upcoming full-length debut album, title is not revealed yet.

The CD contains three brutal tracks that were recorded in last April at Pratama Studio, Ciledug, Tangerang. The studio’s owner Veggy Rubby Pratama engineered, mixed and mastered the whole tracks.

The album cover was designed by Gie from Fingerbitch Art, and band logo by Yusuf Effendi Syam (Tyrant). DG Records owner Denis Suhendra did the lay out design.

Indian guttural slamming brutal death metal band Syphilectomy is Jeritan Babi’s main influence. Dennis told www.Musik.or.id the Syphilectomy’s bassist and frontman Toshi Imchen is planned to record his voice in one of Jeritan Babi’s tracks of upcoming debut studio album.

The band will continue the recording session next July. The debut studio album is scheduled to release in November 2017.

Jeritan Babi was formed in February 2009 by frontman Danil, Bayu Kurniawan (guitars), Muhammad Ardiansyah (drums), and Suffy (bass) in Jakarta. Suffy quit the band in January 2017 due to his commitment at work. Guitarist Bayu recorded all bass tracks in the very album.

On March 11, 2017 DG Records secured a deal with Jeritan Babi to release its future upcoming album.
