Denny Reax’s final music video released posthumously
Reax’s music video titled Hostility, filmed a year ago, has been released on Youtube, July 19, 2017. The video shows the late frontman/guitarist Ramadhanny Hussein singing with the band in a studio.
Hostility is the first track of Reax’s debut EP From the Past, released in June 2016.
Fellow Reax founder/bassist, Bayu Suroso spoke to www.Musik.or.id, revealed the video was filmed on October 9 last year, at Studio 35 Condet. The video was intended to be the first music video to support EP From the Past. But, the music video project was halted due to scheduling conflicts.
Bayu’s brother Ony Suryono and Apit shot the motion pictures under the band’s direction. Fery Susilo (founder of Trauma band) compiled and edited the clips. The video also contains some footage of Middle East conflicts.
Denny Hussein was found dead of heart attack on May 5, 2017 at his house, just few days after the band thrown a launch party for debut From the Past. The gig titled EP Showcase Party was held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Grand Charlie VHT Family Karaoke, Green Terrace Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta.
Two tribute concerts were held in memory of Denny on May 5 and May 24, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella.
