The Rock Campus #88: Indiependence Day Rock Party
The 88th installment of The Rock Campus gig series, will be held tonight, August 16, 2017 at Lost & Found, Jalan Taman Kemang 1, No. 6 Kemang, South Jakarta, starting from 8 PM until 12 PM.
Tonight’s show’s theme “Indiependence Day Rock Party”, marks the observance of 72nd Indonesian National Independence Day Ala “Professor of Rock” Ezra Simanjuntak and his teams Sonic Horizon and Anak Muda.
Six renowned Indonesian music acts are scheduled to play at the very show, i.e. BUNGA, TRAKTION feat. Erza Simanjuntak, RED SIX, VESPUNK, JOKO IN BERLIN, and BURONAN MERTUA.
The organizer will give free The Rock Campus merchandise for first 75 spectators.
The Rock Campus was delivered on February 5, 2015, at Rolling Stone Cafe, by Zi Factor guitarist Ezra Simanjuntak, his manager, Wita Wibisono and the team. The main idea was to make a platform for local rock musicians to share a regular stage.
Initiated as a weekly rock gig, now The Rock Campus gains credit for being the most frequent and consistent rock gig franchise in Jakarta.
More than 200 bands has became the show’s veterans.
