Fatality to throw Reborn launch party at Militan Bawah Tanah 6

Militan Bawah Tanah gig series returns for its sixth installment this Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Kampoeng Susu (in front of Hotel Sarah), Jalan Selabintana Sukabumi, West Java, starting from 10 AM to 5:30 PM.

The gig owner, Metal Militia 99 Production will showcase thirteen metal bands from West Java and Jakarta, featuring Angel of Death, Kujang Rampak and Fatality as the gig headliners. Metal Militia also dedicates Militan Bawah Tanah 6 as a launch party for Fatality’s debut full-length album Reborn.

Reborn is the fruition of Sukabumi-based death metal Fatality years of waiting, since its inception in 1996. The album marks the ageless, energetic, dynamic, and robust Fatality, in shape of 12 tracks, with 37:58 length. Reborn was released on June 6, 2017.

The album was recorded at TR Record Studio, Sukabumi from 2015 to 2017. Produced by Faizal Darussalam from Metal Militia 99 Production.

Fatality last lineup consists of Joan Permana (bass), Egi Nugraha (drums), Hamid Herdiansyah (guitars), Adnan Bastian (guitars), and Halim Budiansyah (vocals).

Angel of Death enjoys their long-established status by ruling most of metal concerts in Sukabumi. The band was founded in 1999 by guitarist/vocalist Faizal Darussalam.

To date, Angel of Death has released eponymous debut EP in 2007 and full-length album Walking Out from 05:14 in 2015. Both releases were published by Metal Militan 99 Production, a production company belongs to Faizal.

Latest formation comprises Faizal Darussalam (guitars/vocals), Denny (bass), Pangestu Adji (drums) and Okky (guitars).

Jakarta-based death metal act Kujang Rampak will rock Metal Militan 6 with set list taken from their debut eponymous album. The show also marks the Kujang Rampak album’s first anniversary after being released by Rottenflesh records in September 2016.

Founded in 2012 by veteran guitarist Riki Wisisena (ex-Grausig, ex-Jasad) and former Burial’s drummer Sumargono in East Jakarta, Kujang Rampak is now survived by Oliel Ahmad (vocals), Gono (drums), Trisna Mulia (guitars) and Ino (bass).


Croxous, Jakarta-based black/thrash metal band was scheduled to co-headline Metal Militan 6, as part of Invasion Tour 2017 to support its latest album Panas Besi Api. But, the band has cancelled its partaking at the very show due to drummer Bono demised.

Bono died suddenly on August 19, 2017 after did a soundcheck for Tangerang-date of Invasion Tour 2017.


After the concert, Metal Militia 99 Production will conduct a discussion about the importance of physical release and local underground music development, featuring Aziz from Dapurletter Magazine, Alfan Afero from Brutal Infection Records and Faizal from Metal Militia 99.

The discussion will be commenced on 7:15 PM. Discussion participants will have a chance to win gifts from Brutal Infection Records and Metal Militia 99.
