Promoter postpones CILACAP MENGHITAM #4

Bintang Production has postponed CILACAP MENGHITAM #4 and rescheduled it for May 14, 2017, citing the event permit as the main reason.

A brief statement was released by Fai Tanda Tanya from Bintang Productions in his Facebook account today, “As the representative of event organizer of Cilacap Menghitam #4, I would like to apologize to all underground music enthusiasts in Cilacap. The event which was intended to hold on April 30, 2017, has been rescheduled for May 14, 2017.”

Fai spoke to www.Musik.or.id about the postpone, said they had been forced to reschedule the show due to no event permit issued by police for any music concert before May 8, 2017 in Cilacap. He said bands who would like to go on with them, will be honored at the newly scheduled date. No further statement made by him.

Cilacap Menghitam is a gig series organized by Bintang Production, an event management owned by Cilacap-based black metal act Manunggal. The fourth installment was initially to be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Garasi Kazena, Kesugihan, Cilacap.

The Cilacap Menghitam #4 will feature MANUNGGAL, who in the occasion will launch their debut full-length album, Kun Fa Ya Kun.

Manunggal is Cilacap-based black metal act, founded in 2013 by guitarist Joko P a.k.a Bayu. The band now consists of Joko Bayu Purnomo (vocals/guitars), Rinto (bass), Mohammad Al-Habsyi (keyboards), and Shilva Ramadan (drums).
